Welcome to the MALM universe of aviation
At MALM, we are proud to combine our passion for watches and aviation to create unique timepieces. Based in Linköping, the capital of Swedish aviation development and manufacturing, we’re surrounded by a rich legacy of aviation history, offering endless inspiration right at our doorstep – often by just looking up to the skies.

A Legacy of Innovation
Sweden stands out as a pioneer in aviation. With over 80 years of aircraft manufacturing, the country has consistently challenged global giants in aircraft technology and performance.
From producing the first series of aircraft with ejection seats to setting multiple speed world records, Swedish aviation has led the way in technological advancements—and continues to do so today.
J35 DRAKEN
A tribute to the iconic and historic Draken jet. The watch face reflects the design of the cockpit clock found in this legendary aircraft. The second hand features the iconic silhoutte.
J29 Tunnan
This watch is inspired by the record-breaking J29 Tunnan jet. Its design draws from the cockpit gauges and blends elements from classic pilot watches of the same era.
DALTON UTC
The reimagined version of our first-ever pilot watch, the Dalton is a celebration to the rich heritage of Swedish aviation manufacturing and development.

Unique Collaborations
To develop our collections, we've worked closely with pilots and military personnel, ensuring that our watches meet their specific needs and requirements.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with members and groups from the Swedish Air Force, pilots and technicians, as well as international squadrons operating Swedish aircraft. These exclusive collaborations—more than 30 to date—result in watches designed specifically for their members and are never sold commercially.

How we design
Our design process begins by a dialogue with the pilots and understanding their needs. We prioritize quality, functionality, visibility, and usability, while drawing inspiration from the unique features of Swedish historical aircrafts.

THE HANDS
Inspired by the hands of cockpit gauges and instruments, with second hands often featuring silhouettes of iconic Swedish jets.

THE DIAL
Combines indices and numerals from cockpit gauges with details and attributes from both modern and vintage era pilot watches.

THE CASE
A fusion of form and function, with unique shapes, silhouettes inspired by Swedish fighter jets, even grip surfaces from cockpits.
